How Do Facials Work?
Following your consultation to choose your unique treatment plan based on your skin's condition and needs, you will lie back in one of our treatment rooms as your facial is performed. Each facial process will be customized; however, most facials will begin with a deep cleansing to eliminate any dirt, makeup, and oil. After cleaning the skin, steam is often used to open the skin pores so whiteheads and blackheads can be easily extracted. This is usually followed by exfoliation, either performed manually or with an added treatment (microdermabrasion or chemical peel). A serum or mask may then be massaged in to deeply nourish. To end the treatment, an SPF moisturizer selected for your skin type will be applied to protect the skin from UV damage after the facial.
